API Sync Issue resolved - 12:00, 24 October 2024
The API sync issue is now resolved and is working as expected.
Important API Update - 16:00, 23 October 2024
We apologise for the delay in giving this update. In our last communication, we mentioned that we were rigorously testing the API to ensure its robustness and security before reactivating it.
Current testing shows that the API is functioning normally. As a result, we plan to reopen the API tomorrow morning (Thursday, 24 October 2024).
We will send another update tomorrow to confirm the API’s status. Thank you for your patience.
Important Update Regarding API downtime - 11:00, 17 October 2024 We would like to share an important update regarding the availability of our API.
As you might be aware, the API has been unavailable since October 9th. This suspension of service was required due to a serious bug identified in a part of the service which sync's data between IRIS Cascade and the IRIS HR API and was discovered subsequent to the most recent IRIS Cascade update on October 3rd.
We want to assure you that our engineering team promptly addressed this situation and took the necessary decision to suspend API traffic to ensure the safety of your data.
We've been working hard behind the scenes to successfully identify and resolve the issue. Now that the problem has been fixed, we are subjecting the API to rigorous testing to ensure its robustness and security before we give it a green light. We anticipate re-enabling the API in the early part of next week.
We understand the importance of this service for business needs, and we appreciate your patience in this matter. As soon as we finalise the exact date, we will immediately inform you in the following communications.

We have identified the issue and are working hard to resolve it. We estimate the API will remain unavailable until at least Wednesday 16 October 2024, but will provide more updates if this changes.
API access temporarily suspended - updated: 13:30, 10 October 2024
We are currently working hard to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. At present, the API will remain off today (10 October) and tomorrow (11 October 2024).
We aim to provide a further update by close of business tomorrow (11 October 2024), indicating whether this issue is expected to continue into next week.
We are aware many of you have built processes around the API, and recommend using temporary options as a back-up until it is resolved.
Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
API access temporarily suspended: 09:00, 10 October 2024 As some of you may be aware, there has been an issue with data syncing to the IRIS HR API. We currently cannot provide a full breakdown of the incident, so have decided to temporarily suspend all access to the API to ensure data integrity.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. At present, any API calls will result in a 404 error. We will provide an update once the issue has been resolved and when the API is available again. |
