Assigning licences to/removing licences from users

When licences have been loaded in IRIS Financials, they need to be assigned to users to enable them to access the software. Licences can be assigned to either a named user or on a concurrent basis.
- Go to Home, then select Licences from the menu.
- Select the required licence from the left-hand panel, then select the Users tab.
- To assign a new user to the licence, select ADD NEW. To remove an existing user from the licence, select EDIT.
Adding users to a licence
- The Select up to users dialog is displayed. Select the user(s) to whom the licence is to be assigned, then select OK.
- The selected user(s) are displayed in the users list in the centre of the Licence Assignment window.
- Once the required licence assignments have been completed, select SAVE.
- An update complete message displays. Select OK to close the message and return to the previous window.
Removing users from a licence
- Select the user to be removed from the licence from the centre panel. Their details are displayed in the right-hand panel. Select the X, as shown in the following graphic.
- The user is displayed with a strike-through. Repeat this process for any other users whose licence you want to remove.

Once the required licence assignments have been completed, select SAVE.

- An Update complete message is displayed. Select OK to close the message and return to the previous window.
