Auditor Access
CUSTADMIN access only
This guidance is only for IRIS Financials Version 7.0.2223 or later. If using version 7.0.2103 or earlier, go to Allowing Auditor Access .
Before auditors can be given access IRIS Financials, a PS Cloud login and access to your environment using a remote desktop connection shortcut (RDP) must have been provided.
To provide the RDP, either forward your connection to the auditor for them to enter their username and password, or log a support ticket (a Service Cloud account is required) with our Support Team who can send the connection.
To provide auditors access to your IRIS Financials data but not allow them to edit it, a user group with the relevant security settings must be created.
If you already have a user group set up for auditors, new auditors can be added as users for that user group as required.
- Add a user group, entering AUDITOR as the Group code.
- Set the Security for the user group:
Provide access to IRIS Financials and other required applications.
If access is given to IRIS Financials Purchasing, access to IRIS Financials Purchasing documents must also be given.
- Give view only permissions to required menu items, and document types.
- Add the auditors as users.
Auditor access guides are based on a typical set-up for a PS Cloud environment. If you are not a PS Cloud customer and are cannot find the required applications, features, or settings, contact your own IT department or administrator.
