Add a Gift Aid nominal

As standard, transactions posted to the following nominals are applicable for Gift Aid:

  • 107000 - Donations Received

  • 107250 - Membership Fees

  • 107400 - Gifts Income

As standard, each nominal applicable for gift aid contains Gift Aid Eligible in the Title. Go to Maintenance > Nominals and search for Gift Aid to see all nominals applicable for gift aid.

Adding additional Gift Aid nominals

You can add additional Gift Aid nominals by adding them to the GIFTAID_NOM keylist.

  1. Create your new nominal (if needed).

  2. Go to Maintenance > Keylists, then select GIFTAID_NOM.

  3. Select ADD NEW > KEY.

  4. Enter the new nominal code in Key and the title in Title, then select SAVE.

    Remember to include - Gift Aid Eligible at the end of the title for consistency with other Gift Aid nominals.

Removing Gift Aid applicable nominals

  1. Go to Maintenance > Keylists, then select GIFTAID_NOM.

    To remove a nominal from Gift Aid, select the Delete Key icon
