Producing a List of Current Fixed Assets

It is advisable to regularly check the list of fixed assets to ensure that they are still in working order and accounted for. This is achieved by producing a ledger list. You can also use this list to check to see that an asset you need to add is not already on the system.

To get a list of Current Fixed Assets, go to Enquires, then select Favourites. Select Fixed Assets Register, then Run.

  1. Select Enquiries, then select Ledger List from the menu.
  2. The Ledger List Criteria dialog is displayed. From the Ledgers panel, select Equals from the drop-down list.
Alternatively, select Like from the Ledger drop-down list, then enter FA in Value 1.
  3. A Value 1 field is displayed. Select Drill (...) in Value 1, then double-select to select the required fixed asset ledger from the Select a ledger dialog.
  4. Select the Account Analysis tab, then select ADD CRITERIA.
  5. A Criteria 1 panel is displayed. Select FA Acquisition Date from the Analysis Field drop-down list. Select ADD CRITERIA again.
  6. A Criteria 2 panel is displayed. Select FA Asset Category from the Analysis Field drop-down list, then select ADD CRITERIA. Repeat this process, selecting the FA Residual Value, Depreciation AccountFA Asset Location, FA Depreciation Start Period, and User Default Entity Code from the Analysis Field drop-down list. Select OK to produce the list.
  7. The list is then displayed.
