Messaging Cloud Users

CUSTADMIN access only

You can send a message to an individual user or all users who are connected to PS Cloud. For example, you may want to do this if you need everyone to log off in order to run a system audit.

1. Log into the PS Cloud Self Service as described in Launching the Cloud Self Service. The PS Cloud window is displayed.
2. Select Servers to display the Servers page (if not already selected).
3. Select Message adjacent to an individual user to whom you want to send a message. Alternatively, select Message All to send a message to all users.
   
4. The Send Message window is displayed. Enter the applicable message in the text panel, as shown in the following graphic, then select Submit.
   
5. A Success message is displayed, indicating that the message has been sent successfully.
   
6. The message is displayed on the applicable end user's PS Cloud environment, as shown in the following graphic:
   
7. The user's PS Cloud session is locked until they select OK.
