Hiding a Budget

If you no longer require the details of a budget, it is possible to hide the budget to keep the list to a minimum or to prevent users from selecting the budget. A budget is hidden for users using Access Levels that determine which users can access the budget. For more information, refer to Overview of Security Access Levels.

Hidden budgets are still visible to the person within your establishment / organisation who administers your system.

  1. Select Maintenance, then select Budgets from the menu.

  2. The Budget Maintenance window is displayed. Select the budget you want to hide from the left-hand panel, then select EDIT.

  3. In Access Level enter 8 or 9 (most users have Access Level 3, only System Administrators have Access Level 9). Select SAVE to complete the process.

  4. An Update complete message is displayed. Select OK to close the message and return to the previous window.
