Add Bank Accounts to IRIS Financials

This guidance is only for IRIS Financials Version 7.0.2223 or later. If using version 7.0.2103 or earlier, go to Creating a new bank account.

To record payments and reconcile transactions for your organisation's bank accounts, it must have an account in IRIS Financials.

If your organisation has multiple bank accounts or when a new bank account is opened, an account for the bank account must be created.

To create an IRIS Financials account for a bank account:

1. Check for an available bank nominal.
2. On the banking ledgers, set up an account for the bank account.
