Configuring Customer Accounts to Collect Direct Debits

Before using Direct Debit Emailer, make sure you set up all applicable sales accounts for Direct Debit collections. Any sales accounts not set up for Direct Debit collection, are not be included on a Direct Debit paylist.

  1. In IRIS Financials go to Maintenance > Ledgers, then select the applicable SALES ledger.

  2. Select LINKS, then select Accounts.

  3. The Sales accounts displays. Select an account, then select Payments.

  4. Select Edit, then choose Direct Collection from the Media drop-down list.

  5. Enter the applicable Account Number and Sort Code.

  6. Enter a reference in Reference. This reference appears on the customers' bank statement.

  7. Repeat for any other customers and select SAVE.
