Workaround for missing data issue
Following an incident on Friday 13th June and Monday 16th June, you may encounter an issue when trying to access your tax return or accounts data. We are working to resolve this issue, in the meantime we recommend using the following steps.
Tax returns
These steps require you to delete and re-add your affected tax returns.
If you have already submitted the tax returns or you can't find the tax return listed, do not follow these steps, and contact support immediately. We will follow up with our development team and provide a response as soon as possible.

Make sure you're logged into IRIS Elements.

Select this link to Taxfiler - Tax Returns on file (external link)

Search for the missing tax return.

Open the tax return, then Delete it.

Go to IRIS Elements Home.

Select the client.
-
Re-add the tax return.
Accounts data
These steps require you to delete and re-add your affected accounts.
If you have already submitted the accounts or you can't find the accounts listed, do not follow these steps, and contact support immediately. We will follow up with our development team and provide a response as soon as possible.

Make sure you're logged into IRIS Elements.

Select this link to Taxfiler - Tax Returns on file (external link)

Select Home.

Search for the missing accounts.

Select the client code.

Select the Trial balance tab.

Export the trial balance.
This will ensure you have a record of the data.

Select the Details tab.

Delete the accounts.

Close the second tab.

Go to IRIS Elements Home.

Select the client.
-
Re-add the accounts.
