3. Add people or business who are not clients

Set up IRIS Elements - Step 3 of 5 - Starting adding your clients

There may be times when you want to add a record for people who are neither a prospect or a client. Such people should be added to the platform as non-clients. This could be a firm of solicitors that you use for example. You can add individuals and businesses.

  1. From the Clients menu, select Add client.

    Alternatively, if already in the Clients list, select Actions then Add client.

  2. From Status, select Non-Client .
  3. Under Client type, select Individual or Business.
    • If adding an individual, record Forenames and Last name only.
    • If adding a business, enter the Business name and select the Business type from the list. If required, enter the business' Registered number and Registered in.
  4. Select Save & view record.
