4. Add Companies House online presenter account

Set up IRIS Elements - Step4 of 5 - Add Companies House and HMRC credentials

Before filing accounts in IRIS Elements, you must add your Companies House presenter account details.

If you don't have these details already, you must apply for a Companies House online filing presenter account. This is an account used specifically for filing online, not your regular Companies House account.

Once you've been accepted, you'll receive a Presenter ID.

If you've forgotten your Companies House authorisation code, contact Companies House.

  1. Select the Admin settings cog icon.

  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Tax & Accounts online filing passwords.
  4. Select Add Companies House credentials.

  5. Enter the Presenter ID and Presenter authentication code.

    The Presenter ID is a mix of 11 characters starting and ending with 000, not the email address used for Companies House Web Filing.

  6. (Optional) To receive notifications and reminders from Companies House, Email address defaults to the email address for your account.

    If you do not want to receive notifications and reminders, clear the email address. No submission receipts are sent by email.

  7. Save changes.
