View or edit the accounts status

You can check or change the status of the accounts as they move through the various stages of the process. The status is displayed on the Status tab of the client record or in the Accounts widget on the client dashboard.

Some statuses are automatically applied based on actions that have been taken, but you can also change the status via the Status tab. Any errors or warnings are also listed on this tab.

  1. Go to Clients > Client list and find the required client.

  2. On the Accounts widget on the client dashboard, select the required accounts.

  1. On the Status tab, select one of the following statuses which is saved automatically:

    • Draft - accounts are in progress.

    • Final - the applicable dates has been entered for the accounts.

    • Ready for client - the accounts are ready to send for client approval.

    • Sent to client - the accounts have been sent to the client for approval.

    • Awaiting signature - the accounts have been sent to the client for approval and is awaiting.

    • Approved - the accounts have been approved by the client.

    • Submitted to Companies House - the accounts have been submitted to Companies House.
