Templates

IRIS Elements (v.0) has default templates you can use to get started. However, you can create your own templates for use with KYC assessments and define specific templates for your different client types. You can set templates to 'in use' and delete custom templates you no longer need.

Create a template

You can create a new, blank template or base it on an existing template.

  1. On the menu bar, select the settings icon then go to Manage Templates > AML.
  1. On the KYC assessment tab select New template.
  2. In the Template name box, enter a unique name.
  3. Select the Client type and, optionally, a Base template then select Create
  • If selected, you'll see the questions from the base template but you can move them around or delete them.
  • If you didn't select a base template, a blank template is provided. (You must add at least one section and one question before you can set the template to 'In use'.)
  1. Configure your template:
  • To specify or change a section name, enter it in the Section name box.
  • To add a section, select New section.
  • To delete a question, select the bin icon.
  • To move a question, select the drag handle and move up or down the list.
  • To add a question, scroll down and select New question. In the Question box, type the question then select an option on the Answer type list. Select Save question.
  1. When you've finished, select Save template. The template is now available for selection the next time a user creates a KYC assessment.

Edit a template

You can't edit the default template but you can change any templates you've created.

  1. On the menu bar, select the settings icon then go to Manage Templates > AML.
  2. Select the template you want to edit.
  3. If required, in the Template name box, change the name.
  4. To change a section name, enter it in the Section name box.
  5. To add a section, select New section.
  6. To delete a question, select the bin icon.
  7. To move a question, select the drag handle and move up or down the list.
  8. To add a question, scroll down and select New question. In the Question box, type the question then select an option on the Answer type list. Select Save question.
  9. When you've finished, select Save template.

Set a template to 'in use'

You can create multiple templates but you can have only one template in use for each client type.

  1. On the menu bar, select the settings icon then go to Manage Templates > AML.
  2. To enable or disable a template, toggle the In use switch.

Delete a template

You can't delete the default template, even if it's not in use. You can delete other templates.

  1. On the menu bar, select the settings icon then go to Manage Templates > AML.
  2. Locate the template you want to delete and select the bin icon.
