Credit Screen

The basic credit screen provides information on any UK resident for CCJs, bankruptcies, and IVAs, including the Scottish equivalents of each (decrees, sequestrations, and trust deeds).

A basic credit screen is £3.75 per check.

You're charged a fee for each screen so make sure that the client information you submit is accurate and correctly formatted to avoid unnecessary costs.

  1. Go to Clients.

  2. Select the client you want to run a credit screen for and select the AML tab. If the Primary address of the client is within the UK (specifically England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland) then the HR screen widget is displayed with information about the check, including the cost.

The default view is a widget that shows the information and cost of the credit screen. If you have permission, you can run a credit screen.

  3. If you want to view the results of a previous credit screen, select the View completed checks list, and choose the credit screen you want to view. The results are shown in the credit screen panel.

  4. Select Run check. Validate that you've informed your client or prospect that a credit screen will be performed and select Confirm and run. The credit screen request is submitted.

The credit screen request is a 'click and forget' service, so you can complete another AML task related to the client, or navigate to other parts of IRIS Elements (v.0), while you're waiting for the results.

Credit screen results

Depending on the result of credit screen, the Risk level is set automatically. It's displayed in the credit screen widget on the AML tab of the client record.

When a credit screen is returned, you immediately see a summary of the results and the risk level for the client. You can download a PDF document with further information related to the credit screen.

You can override these values.
