What Students receive when you send their exam results using Student Reach

If you use SIMS as your Management Information System (MIS), exam results can be sent using Student Reach.

To access their exam results, students must do the following:

  1. Enter their date of birth to confirm their identity from the first email

The date entered must match the date against their record in IRIS Reach. Students have 10 chances to successfully confirm their date of birth before the link expires.

  2. Download their results from the link provided in the second email

We recommend students download a PDF copy of their results. They can only use the Download my exam results link to view their results 3 times.

Why has the student got an error message when trying to confirm their date of birth?

If the student has not confirmed their date of birth successfully within the 10 chances, you must resend their results. A new email is sent to allow them to confirm their date of birth again.

Why has the download link expired when the student tries to get their results?

Students are advised to download a copy of their results if they want to keep a copy because they can only use the link 3 times to view them.

If the link has expired, you must resend the results. Students have to confirm their identity again to receive an email with a new link.

Why has the student not received their exam results email?

If the student has not received an email, check if the student successfully received the results email by going to Student Reach, then selecting Student Email Audits.

If the student was not listed as successfully receiving the email but has an email address stored in SIMS, check the following:

When you have checked all of the above, try sending the exam results to the student again.

If the student still does not receive their exam results email, log a support ticket (a Service Cloud account is required) to contact our Support Team.
