Snapshots Settings

In the settings for Snapshots, you can personalise the Snapshots module for your organisation A school, multi-academy trust (MAT), single academy trust (SAT), club, nursery or organisation that uses the software. and manage the people from whom you want to request contributions.

You can also manage whether you want Snapshots displayed as an option within the MyEd Name of the application parents and carers use to receive messages sent by schools using IRIS Reach. app.

Access Snapshots Settings

1. Select Snapshots > Settings.

2. The Snapshot Settings page is displayed.

Activate or Deactivate Snapshots

Snapshots is activated by default to be displayed in the MyEd app. If you no longer want to display Snapshots in app, you can deactivate the menu option.

Snapshots can only be published to the MyEd app. If you deactivate Snapshots, person A parent, legal guardian, carer, or someone responsible for a student.s are unable to view Snapshots in the app and you are unable to publish any further Snapshots until it is activated.

1. Select or deselect Active to activate or deactivate Snapshots in the MyEd app.

2. Select Save Settings to confirm.

   

Change Snapshots Name

You can change the name of the Snapshots module to meet your organisation needs, which changes the name of Snapshots in the MyEd app menu. For example, if using Snapshots to create newsletters, you can change the name to Newsletters, which is then displayed as a menu option in the app.

1. Enter the name you want for your organisation Snapshots in Snapshot Title.

2. Select Save Settings to confirm.

   

Manage Header Image

Add an Image

You can add an image to be displayed at the top of the Snapshots section in the MyEd app, for example, your organisation logo.

1. Select Upload adjacent to Header Image.

   

    

2. The Snapshot - Image Upload page is displayed. Select Select File from Upload a header image file. Alternatively, drag and drop the required image in to Upload a header image file.

   

    

3. The Open dialog is displayed. Select the required image file, then select Open.

4. The selected image is displayed adjacent to Header Image. Select Save Settings to confirm.

   

Remove an Image

If you want to change or no longer want to display a header image in Snapshots, the image needs to be removed.

1. Select Remove adjacent to Header Image.

   

    

2. The image is removed. Select Save Settings to confirm.

   

Manage Header Text

You can enter a greeting or brief description to be displayed at the top of the Snapshots section in the MyEd app.

1. Enter the details you want to use as a greeting or description for Snapshots in Header Text.

2. Select Save Settings to confirm.

   

Manage Contributors

You can select or deselect the people to which you want a notification to be sent that they need to contribute to a Snapshot or for whom you want to assign to a particular Snapshots topic.

Only people who have an account for IRIS Reach can contribute to a Snapshot.

1. Select or clear the check box adjacent to the User you want to add or remove to receive contributor notifications from the Notified Contributors list. Alternatively, if you want to select or deselect all users, select or deselect Check All.

2. Select Save Settings to confirm your selections.
