Set Up Automatic MIS Staff Contact Details Sync

If you are a SIMS or Progresso organisation A school, multi-academy trust (MAT), single academy trust (SAT), club, nursery or organisation that uses the software., you can set up an automatic weekly sync from your Management Information System (MIS) to add, remove, and update staff member details in IRIS Reach.

For the system to extract this information, the KKS User (in your MIS) must be assigned the Personnel Officer permission.

Adding Personnel Officer to KKS User in SIMS

  1. Log in to SIMS.
  2. Select Focus > System Manager > System Manager 6.
  3. A welcome screen is displayed. To assign the users to the user group, select Personnel Officer from the drop-down list, then select the button to the left.

    If the welcome page is not displayed, select Tools > Show Welcome Screen.

  4. Find the username (this is the name that your organisation has given to our login at the time that our utility was added to your system). If this cannot be found, select the magnifying glass icon, then select + next to People > User, then Select.
  5. When the username is found, select Choose, then Update.
