Communications Overview
Community Reach communications are messages sent to groups and individual contacts (for example, staff, governors, or a person A parent, legal guardian, carer, or someone responsible for a student. not listed as priority 1 contact for a student) who are not automatically imported from your Management Information System (MIS). Messages can be sent as text messages, emails and letters.
You are unable to send in-app MyEd Name of the application parents and carers use to receive messages sent by schools using IRIS Reach. messages using Community Reach.
A person can be added or a new custom group created. For example, you can create a group for governors, teaching staff, non-teaching staff groups, etc.)
Templates can be created and used when sending text messages, emails, or letters. For example, if you want a standard reply that can be sent as a response to messages. Message recipients can respond to text messages and emails, which you can access in Community Reach. You can also access a monthly breakdown of all messages sent is provided, manage incorrect or unsubscribed email addresses, and view communication history for each recipient.
