Manage Till Settings for All Tills
Default settings are applied for all tills that if required, can be changed to meet your organisation's needs.
To change the settings for all tills:
- Go to Maintenance, then select Modules.
- Select Till, then Till Settings.

Change the settings as required:

Choose any required Till Operator Permissions.
If any of the Till Operator Permissions are selected, at least one Till Operator must be set up as an administrator.

Choose how the tills are set up to work and what information is displayed:
Till Setting Section Description Till Mode Defaulted to Standard Till, which only allows items on the Till Menu to be purchased.
If required, you can choose to also allow Pre-Orders to be collected, or run the till in Demo mode.
Transactions are not processed when the till is in Demo Mode.
Till Startup Page Choose the page you want displayed when till operators first log in. Automatic Log Out To keep data secure, choose how long a till is idle for before the operator is automatically logged out. Auto Close Order Confirmation Messages Switch on to automatically close the order processed successfully messages within 3 seconds. Customer Identification Settings Choose how you want customer details to be displayed and if any confirmation of identity is required when identifying customers at the till. Display Customer Allowance Details Switch on to display the customer allowance details when processing orders through the till. Refresh Data Set how often the till synchronises with IRIS BioStore Portal to refresh the data.

- Save the changes.
There is a slight delay before the settings are applied on the tills. If a till is offline, the settings are applied when it is next online.
