Roles and Permissions Improvements for IRIS BioStore Portal — February 2026
We have redesigned how Roles work in IRIS BioStore Portal to provide a more accessible and modern experience.
What's New
The new design includes:
- New default roles with specific permissions that can be applied for administrators, caterers, or every day users.
- Labels have been updated to explain what each permission does. Where relevant, you can select permission levels such as Add, View, or Edit.
- Allows you to assign users to roles without having to go to the Users section.
What is happening with Existing Roles and Permissions
- All roles you have already set up are available in the Custom Roles section.
- Existing permissions remain the same, but are now displayed in the new layout with updated labels.
