The following updates were made to IRIS BioStore Portal during October 2025:

Fixes and Updates
- Performance and security improvements and updates.
- Products with long names and descriptions now display with ... to indicate there is more and the item needs to be selected to display the full details.
IRIS BioStore Portal
- Customer Transactions report now displays correct Balance.
- Resolved issues with part refunds not being created correctly.
- Free Meal and Paid, Reconciliation, and Product Sales reports now load correctly.
- When selecting Pre-Orders for multiple customers, Product Warnings applied for one customer, are no longer applied to customers without the warning.
- Devices page is now only available for roles with management permissions.
- Confirm Regenerate QR Code or PIN messages now displayed when Get QR or Get PIN is selected on Customers page.
- Orders placed and cleared on Pre-Orders without leaving the page are now cancelled correctly.
- Allergen and Product Warnings that have been removed from customer records no longer continue to display on the Customer Warning and Whole School reports.
- Zero amount can be entered in Manage Balances for Online Deposits.
- IRIS ParentMail balance updates no longer delayed.
- Orders for Products with warnings matching the ones linked to Customer accounts can now be ordered after the Product Warning is removed from the Customer.
- Whole School and Reconciliation reports now correctly have total meals paid for.
- When Set menu to calendar end is selected, the schedule now applies correctly.
- Last Connect now displays correctly for Devices.
- Customer records imported from Management Information Systems (MIS) can no longer be edited.
- Only one Cash wallets can be added as a Payment Type.
- When upgrading from IRIS FasTrak, customer photos are now imported correctly.
IRIS BioStore Till
- Confirm Regenerate QR Code messages now displayed when Get QR selected on Till Operators page.
- Orders for Products with warnings matching the ones linked to Customer accounts can now be ordered after the Product Warning is removed from the Customer.
- The Name of the till device entered in IRIS BioStore Portal, now displays on the Till screen.
- Split transactions now display as one line on the Till Sales report.
- Resolved issues with reclaims to be made before deposits for customers with allowances.
- Add Operator, Edit Operator, and Delete now work correctly for users with Till Operator permissions.
- Resolved issues with regenerated Till Operator QR codes being invalid.
- Meal Deals can no longer be selected as a product on the Till Layout.
- Bursary Allowance now displays as Allowance Balance on the Till.
- Descriptions can be added when importing Customer account balances.
- Till Preview now displays an accurate copy of the screen as it would display on the till.
IRIS BioStore Bookings
- Orders can no longer be placed for dates set as holidays.
- Send Reset Password option for parents and carers accounts now available in Manage Guardian for users with School Manager permissions.
- VAT amounts now correctly display in statements for IRIS ParentMail and IRIS PlusPay accounts.
- Duplicate parent and carer accounts no longer created if personal details have been updated when another student is linked to their account.
- Parent and carer accounts are now correctly removed when not included in the import file.
- The same order total amount now displays on the Customer Transaction report to match the amount in the app.
- IRIS ParentMail linked accounts now have a message displayed when CURRENT BALANCE is zero to confirm top ups can take up to 30 minutes to be available in the app.
