Update — December 2025

The following updates were made to IRIS BioStore Portal during December 2025:

New Features

IRIS BioStore Portal

  • Reports can now be created and downloaded in CSV format.

IRIS BioStore Till

  • Organisation name now displays on the Log In screen for the till.
  • Confirmation sound now plays when a QR Code is scanned successfully.

Fixes and Updates

  • Performance and security improvements and updates.
  • Resolved issues with ParentPay balances updates not displaying in IRIS BioStore Portal, IRIS BioStore Till, and IRIS BioStore Bookings.

IRIS BioStore Portal

  • Packed lunches and absences no longer display in the cash sales count on the Reconciliation report.
  • VAT on FSM and UIFSM transactions now displays correctly in the Reconciliation report.
  • When updating the overdraft limit for multiple cash account balances at the same time, the cash wallets now update correct and no longer add a UIFSM wallet as a Payment Type.
  • Customer details imported from a Management Information System (MIS) can no longer be deleted in IRIS BioStore Portal, and only removed by deleting them from the MIS.
  • Resolved issues with parents and carers not linking correctly to students when imported.
  • For customer accounts created in IRIS BioStore Portal directly, resolved issues with customers being charged twice for purchases.
  • Time displayed for funding schedules now correctly shows as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
  • When Point Of Purchase setting for Pre-Orders is set to Purchase On Order - Automated Collection, orders no longer charge after the order is collected.
  • The Whole School and Year Overview reports no longer include cancelled orders that were causing issues with them having differences.

IRIS BioStore Till

  • Allowance Balance details now display correctly.
  • The value of Current Balance now displays in red if the account is in debt.
  • Wi-Fi connected indicator now also displays on the Log In screen.
  • Order confirmation message now only displays for 0.5 seconds.
  • Cash transaction for delayed order message no longer displayed instead of Item details on the Order History.
