Data Extractor Service Started and Then Stopped
The Data Extractor Service on Local Computer started and then stopped error message is displayed when trying to start the Data Extractor service.
Resoltion
Try the below to fix the issue

Check the proxy settings in deconfig.exe are correct - must come back connection OK.

Check the account the Data Extractor service is running under - it might be that the password has changed.

Check the SQL server service for the instance used for DE (found in CGDE) is running.

Reboot the server (out of hours).
