Error 1923

Error 1923 is displayed when installing a newer version of the IRIS Sync on a server or PC that previously had DE Monitor manually installed on it.

Resolution

Open a command prompt and run the following - sc delete "DEMonitor" and sc delete "DEService". The Data Extractor Monitor and Data Extractor services should now be removed and the installation can complete successfully.
