Moving a User from One Group to Another

There may be circumstances where a user changes role within the establishment/organisation and consequently needs different access to the system. This is achieved by changing the user group to which the user belongs.
- Launch the Administrator module by selecting Admin > Administrator from the menu bar in PS Accounting. For added security, you will be prompted to login again with your System Administrator account details.
- The PSF Administration dialog is then displayed. The left-hand panel contains an explorer view of the system, including the databases and user groups. The right-hand section provides access to view/edit applicable security information.

Expand the user group folder then select the required user name to display the User tab.
- Select the required user group from the Group drop-down list then click the Save and Close button.
Changes will only take effect once the applicable user has logged out and back in again.
