IRIS Financials Advanced Reporting Getting Started Guide

The new IRIS Financials Advanced Reporting module has standard reports and also allows organisations to create custom reports using their data available from IRIS Financials.

Let us help you get started using IRIS Financials Advanced Reporting by opening the Microsoft Power BI Desktop application and learning about creating and viewing reports:

IRIS Financials Advanced Reporting uses Microsoft Power BI. When using Microsoft Power BI Desktop to create, edit, and publish reports, you must hold and press the Ctrl key, then select buttons or links. To learn more about using Microsoft Power BI, go to the Help Centre.

1. On your Remote Desktop for IRIS Financials or in the PS Cloud, find Microsoft Power BI Desktop app, or the reporting file on the shared X: Drive.
2. From Reporting Home, you can: 
   • Select a category to display the default reports available, then select the report you want to use.
   • Create a new report.
   • Edit existing reports.
