No Data Displayed on GRN select in MyPortal
When pulling the details of an order through to the next stage, e.g. to GRN or invoice, you may be confronted with a message showing No Data and the details of the document are not available to select.
Firstly, we can check all the obvious causes, such as selecting the correct supplier, or checking the status of the document(s) is correct. If the details still don't appear, then a common reason is down to the search fields containing incorrect information.
If we look at the example above, the Doc Num field has copied through the details of the previous search esp.
Because esp is text, when entered into a number field, the search will never produce any results (a 'space' may also restrict the results).
Delete the text out of the field and then click the magnifying glass icon to refresh the search, and the documents should be displayed.
You may also consider deleting the cookies from your browsing history to prevent this from happening.
Troubleshooting
Documents still not displayed after correcting the search fields
There could be an issue with the status of the detail line. For example, in order to pull through to GRN, the status of the line needs to show as POAUT. You may have a line that hasn't been authorised or that has already been GRN'd by mistake.
To check the status of the document lines, search for the document and click the magnifying glass to View Document. Then select Document Links from the Document Events menu.
Any linked documents will be displayed, and you will also be able to see the status of each individual line, which may help you identify the issue. (Click the arrows to expand each row).
