Import Journals
To record transactions IRIS Financials and IRIS Financials does not have specific document input forms for, the details are imported as journals.
If required, ad-hoc journals can be entered manually.
Before Importing Details

- Download:
- The required comma-separated values (CSV) template for the document type
- The required document type Status Quo Function (SQF) file
- In the CSV template:
- Enter all the payment or transaction details for the documents.
- Delete the column headings row.
- Save a copy of the CSVfile with a meaningful name.
Import the Journal Upload Format File
After all the journal details are entered on the template, complete the import.
