PS Cloud Account File Storage

If your organisation uses IRIS Financials on the PS Cloud, you have a PS Cloud account.

PS Cloud accounts have a storage limit of 1GB. To make sure your account has sufficient space to continue working correctly, you must regularly maintain it.

When the 1GB storage limit for PS Cloud accounts is reached, a Disk Full error is displayed. To get the account working again, files stored on the account must be deleted or removed. Occasionally the PS Cloud can also freeze and display a black screen. When this happens you must log a support ticket (a Service Cloud account is required).

To stop your PS Cloud reaching the 1GB storage limit, files you upload for importing into IRIS Financials products or files you export from IRIS Financials should be saved to either:

  • The shared Customer Specific Drive (X:) folder on the PS Cloud.
  • A folder on your computer or device.

If you choose to save files to your PS Cloud account Documents folder, then you must regularly delete them or if you want to keep them, move them to the shared Customer Specific Drive (X:) folder or a folder on your computer.
