Assigning Security Roles to Groups
CUSTADMIN access only
Security roles are used to restrict access to the ways in which the data can be maintained, i.e. whether data can be viewed, modified or posted. After assigning security to accounts, ledgers, and nominals, you must assign the required security roles to user groups.

Go to Admin, then select Administrator.
Alternatively, select the Administrator shortcut if you have it on your desktop.
- Select + to expand the Databases folder, then select your organisation's live database.
- Select Security Roles, then select the required User group.
- Select or clear the relevant roles for the user group from Roles.
- To save, select Apply, then Save And Close.
