Dispute Documents

The In Dispute status should be applied to documents to move them to the hold database where: 

  • Authorisation is required but the document was posted on a standard version of the document
  • Document is still awaiting authorisation and must not be included on a payment run
  1. Go to Masters, then select Accounts....

  2. Select the required ledger.
  3. Find and select the required account, then Details.
  4. For any listed document, right-click on, then select Account Enquiry.
  5. Find the required payment.
  1. Next to the first column, right-click the grey box, then select Dispute Item.

If required, add comments to explain why the payment status has been changed to D.

Documents with In Dispute (D) status are still displayed in reports.
