Documents in the Register Period

Documents are typically posted to the Register period because they have been rejected during the approval process, or because there are issues with it that need to be resolved before it can be posted to the books.

Any document in the Register has a reason for being posted there in either in one of the User Field columns or as a comment.

To check the reason a document is posted in the Register:

  1. Select the required document, or expand the document to view the detail lines.
  2. To view the reason, check: 
    • The User Field columns.
    • To check for comments and view them, right-click the document or detail line, then select Comments.

Do not COPY any documents in the Register as this can lead to issues with documents being posted to the incorrect nominals for VAT and financial reporting.
