Type in the search box as soon as a dialog opens

When a dialog with a search box opens, the cursor now goes to the search box automatically. You can start typing straight away.

Next is unavailable in the bank statement import without access to the bank

DfE Academy Return is no longer available

The Department for Education (DfE) Academy Return functionality is no longer available in IRIS Financials.

DfE balance summary screen updated

The DfE balance summary screen is updated.

The All Details enquiry option in Payment History is faster

The All Details enquiry option in Payment History now returns results faster.

The Previous Year option in Enquiries works on the first day of the financial year

The Previous Year option in Enquiries now works on the first day of the financial year. Previously, the option failed on that day.

Gainsight links and consent form removed

This release removes the Gainsight links and the Gainsight consent form from IRIS Financials. The IRIS Financials Gainsight suppression release — October 2026 stopped the application sending activity data to Gainsight.

Installation and database changes

The installation process differs for PS Cloud customers and on-premises customers. IRIS provides 2 AutoUpdater packages for this release.

A valid Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate must be present in your server environment before you install release 7.0.2633.

Requirements

You need:

  • A valid SSL certificate in the server environment, because IRIS Financials runs against a web service that uses SSL encryption.

  • IRIS AutoUpdater utility build 0.11.1 or later, which needs Microsoft .NET 4.7.2 or later to run.

  • A version of Microsoft Windows Server later than 2012 R2, because AutoUpdater does not support 2012 R2 or earlier.

PS Cloud

IRIS installs this release automatically for PS Cloud customers.

To install on an individual PS Cloud machine, follow the steps for on-premises customers.

On-premises

On-premises customers must use both AutoUpdater packages:

  • ALL_IRIS Financials_Build 2633_SERVER General Release.abp

  • ALL_IRIS Financials_Build 2633_CLIENT General Release.abp

The packages apply the correct certificate settings and run the SQL scripts for the database table changes in this release. Use the packages instead of the MSI installer files, unless you have experience of applying certificates.
