Remove Users from a User Group

This guidance is only for IRIS Financials Version 7.0.2223 or later if your organisation has switched on the New security screens. If it is not switched on or using version 7.0.2103 or earlier, go to Managing users.

To access and use IRIS Financials applications and features, users must be assigned to a user group.

If the user no longer needs the permissions set for the user group:

• To make sure they can continue to access and use IRIS Financials, move them to a group with the required permissions.

  If a change to permissions is needed that can be applied to all the users in the group, change the security for the user group.

• If the user has left your organisation, deactivate their account.
