To get Direct Debit Emailer Version 6.0.0.17, log a support ticket (a Service Cloud account is required) requesting the update. Our support team will contact your to arrange accessing your Cloud server and installing the updates.
New Features
Direct Debit Mandate
Direct Debit Mandates to instruct the bank to start or cancel a direct debit can now be sent from Direct Debit Emailer.
To use Direct Debit Mandates, Media Exporter Version 6.0.0.31 must be installed and used.
As the mandates do not include instruction to request a monetary value, a collection payment run does not have to be created to use the mandates.
To use mandates, the following codes have been added in IRIS Financials, and must be added to the Direct Debit Collection (DDUK) index:
- ON - Start Instructions for Bank
- OC - End Instructions for Bank
- CAR - Cancel and Renew Instruction (which creates in 2 lines in the output file)
After adding the Direct Debit Collection indexes, in Direct Debit Emailer, the mandates can be created.
Fixes and Updates
- Resolved issues with the Unable to create media message displaying after removing accounts with missing direct debit instruction and reference from a pay list.
- Improved loading times for payment lists with a large number of transactions.
Known Issues
The following are known issues relating to updating to Version 6.0.0.17:
- After installation, due to the Direct Debit Emailer being moved to the IRIS Financials folder, check any IRIS Financials version 7 menu hooks to confirm the Direct Debit Emailer module is still displayed. If it is no longer displayed, it must be added again.
- We are investigating the issues with the supplied sample payment rule failing on User IDs.
