On-premise customers only

Install the ESFA Budget Forecast Return 2024 file. If you do not have the file, contact our Support Team.

This release also includes: 

  • The new PSF and DfE Chart of Accounts groupings (referenced by the Department for Education (DfE) as Version 6.3.0) for the Academy Return for 2023/24
  • The DfE Chart of Accounts groupings (referenced by the Department for Education (DfE) as Version 7.0.0) for the 2024/25 academic year

    The 2024/25 academic year groups do not apply for the 2023/24 academic year, and further changes to the DfE Chart can be expected during the 2024/25 year.

    The new DfE Chart of Accounts nominals available with this release are detailed in the Updates to the 2024/25 chart of accounts section on gov.uk.

Install the Updated EFA Budget Forecast Return Report

To install the updates for the EFA Budget Forecast Return report:

  • If you are a PS Cloud customer, log a support ticket (a Service Cloud account is required) requesting the updated report. Our support team will contact your to arrange accessing your Cloud server and installing the updates.
  • If you are an On-premise customer, you must install the updates.

The following changes are installed:

  • Updates to EFA Budget Forecast Return report to meet this year's submission requirements.
  • Where possible, this year's indices values have been automatically linked to the applicable ESFA categories on nominals

    We recommend checking that all required nominals have been automatically linked to ESFA indices values. If the nominal has been incorrectly linked or not linked at all, add this year's indices values.
