PS People Version 2.24.12 Release (May 2024)

This topic provides information about new features and fixes in this version of PS People.

Update Software

To install the updates:

  • If you are a PS Cloud customer, this release will be made automatically by the PS Cloud team.
  • If you are an On-premise customer, you must install the updates.

New Features

Save Payslips When Running the Payslip Report Selection Wizard

The option to Save Payslips is now available on page 7 when running the Payslip Report Selection Wizard

To run the Payslip Report Selection Wizard and save payslips: 

  1. Go to Payroll, then select Reports, then Pre-Printed Stationery, then Payslips.
  2. On page 7, select Save Payslips.

Payslips are saved in the selected file location.

Statutory Sick Pay Offset on Payroll Details Report

The Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) offset is now displayed on the Payroll Details report. To access the report, go to Payroll, then select Reports, then Analysis Reports.

The report has all SSPP entries for the current period in the SSP Payments column, and all SSPP entries with the deduct flag set are displaying in the SSP Deduction column.

Full Payment Submission Student and Post Graduate Loans

If an employee is required to pay a student or graduate loan but does not earn enough to meet the minimum threshold for making repayments, the FPS now displays as zero for the loan.

Fixes and Updates

Payroll Resolved Issues

  • To resolve issues with Maternity Pay being calculated twice, if it has already been calculated in Fixed Payments and Deductions, it is not repeated in the working file
  • Employment History records with Proposed status are no longer included in the MCR, even if the MCR flag is selected and they are within the dates being processed

General Fixes and Updates

  • Modern Authentication (OAuth 2.0) is now available in Email Settings for email from Outlook 365

    Additional settings must be completed to use Modern Authentication. To access Email Settings, go to System Setup, then select Housekeeping, then System Definitions, then Email Settings. For more information, visit the PS People help site.
