Introduction

The IRIS FasTrak Catering system is made up of the following software packages:

  • FasTrak Server — Controls and provides access to your IRIS FasTrak Database.
  • FasTrak Admin — View users and carry out administrative tasks.
  • FasTrak Client — Use IRIS FasTrak’s pre-order system and/or till system.
  • FasTrak Reval — Set up a link to IRIS FasTrak’s reval units, if in use.

An example setup would be:

  • 1x FasTrak Server installed on a backed up server
  • FasTrak Admin installed on staff/catering manage machines, depending on how many copies your licence allows.
  • FasTrak Client installed on tills (or classroom PCs for pre-orders)
  • 1x FasTrak Reval installed with FasTrak Server if reval units are to be used.

Your own installation will change depending on your site’s configuration.
