Clear Blockages in Coin and Note Mechanisms
In order to clear blockages we must first set the cashloaders to maintenance mode
- Login toFasTrak Admin by double clicking the logo.
-
Then enter your login name and password in the pop-up box:
- Then click on the green tick.
-
The IRIS BioStoreFasTrak Admin front page will open. Click on the Maintenance tab (circled in red).
-
Under Maintenance, locate Reval control and select the option for Turn all off for maintenance.
-
Go to the Reval machine, but before attempting to alter anything behind the top door of the machine it is necessary to locate the electrical supply and turn off to prevent damage. Depending on how the equipment has been installed there will be a three-pin socket or a fused electrical supply. Either switch off the electric at the socket or disconnect the electrical lead from the power adapter unit.
Clearing a Note Mechanism
The note mechanism can be detached from the Revaluation Machine by pressing in the two purple buttons on either side at the back of the unit (circled in red).
Once Detached the Mech can be opened by pressing the purple buttons on the top of the unit near the front.
Check that there are no blockages. Once any blockages are removed, close the lid, and reinsert the note mechanism into the door, when plugging the cable back into the unit, ensure the orange wire that is visible on the cable is closest to the door.
Clearing a Coin Mechanism
The Coin Mechanism can be detached from the Revaluation Machine by pressing in the side button and unclipping it from the face-plate:
Once detached you should be able to see a small lever at the front of the unit:
This can be pulled down and the side of the mechanism can be opened up- This does require some force to open.
The mechanism should open like this and any blockages can be cleared. To close the lid the lever has to be pulled down again and the side closed. When clipping back onto the cashloader the bottom has to clip on then the top.
Once one or both units have been cleared they can be plugged back into the cashloader and the unit powered back on again.
While in maintenance mode coins and notes should be able to be put through the mechanisms to confirm that they now work and the values should show on the display.
