This section describes the IRIS Assets app and the devices linked to your IRIS Assets system through the app.

Devices

Displays approved devices and devices waiting for approval.

The Approved Devices table displays the details for all devices linked to your IRIS Assets . Use Revoke to remove this device's access to IRIS Assets — note that this only removes the device, the user is still able to access IRIS Assets through other approved devices and IRIS Assets Online.

The Devices Waiting For Approval table displays all mobile devices waiting to be linked to IRIS Assets.

How to add the IRIS Assets app to a smartphone.

Apple Devices

You can install the app on iPod Touch and iPhone devices running iOS 8 and above from the Apple App Store.

Once installed, you must select Settings to log in. The app synchronises with IRIS Assets once the device has been approved.

Android Devices

You can install the app on devices with Android Version 4.1 and above.

Once installed, you must select Settings to log in. The app synchronises with IRIS Assets once the device has been approved.
