This screen is accessed via the Data Input tab within the tax return and allows the entry of interest received from banks, building societies and other deposit takers.

Bank interest paid gross

• Description - enter a description of the source, such as the bank name and account details.

• Amount - enter the total gross receipt.

Interest from unit trusts and open-ended investment companies

Description - enter a description of the source, such as the bank name and account details.

National Savings & Investments First Option Bonds, Guaranteed Growth & Guaranteed Income Bonds

• Description - enter a description of the source, such as the bank name and account details.

• Gross amount

All other interest from National Savings & Investments

• Description - enter a description of the source, such as the bank name and account details.

• Gross amount

Other income from UK savings and investments (except dividends)

Description - enter a description of the source, such as the bank name and account details.

• Net

• Tax

To delete a line from a grid, select the ‘trash can‘ icon at the end of the line.
