Task list
By default, the task list displays tasks that are in progress. You can use the filters to show tasks that have relating to specific jobsor to organise the task list by assignee, dates, etc.
-
Open the task list by going to Work > Your tasks. By default, this will show tasks assigned to you.
-
On the list you can then sortthe tasks using the column headings, such as client, start and due date. You can also filter the task list, using the green buttons, to show you tasks relating to certain types of job, time period, assigned user and status.
-
Once you've applied ordering or filters, you can save the view of the task list so you can come back to it quickly later. Click on Custom view > Save view as.
You must have Admin permissions to do this.
-
Name your view and click OK. Your saved task list view will now be stored under the Work menu.
Filters
When you access the task list, there will be a default set of filters applied to show you any tasks assigned to you that are ready to start. This includes tasks that are Overdue or Uncompletable tasks that require further attention. For more information on task statuses, go to Task status.
If you would like to see upcoming tasks, you will need to change two filters:
-
Starting today or earlier can be changed to a date range in the future or changed to Any
-
The status filter can be changed to Pending. If you would like to include tasks that are dependent on the completion of other tasks, you can also tick Blocked.
To view specific tasks, first select one job from the All jobs filter, then select a task, or tasks, from the All tasks filter. The All tasks filter is not available when more than one job is selected.
Auto refresh
If you would like to keep your task list open on a screen, switch the Auto refresh toggle to On. This will ensure that as you complete tasks in other areas of Senta, the task list will update automatically without the need to manually refresh the page.
Flags / Stars
Highlight specific tasks for others, or for yourself, to see by using flags and stars, found in the first two columns of the task list.
-
Flags are seen by everyone in your practice
-
Stars are visible only to you
Once flags or stars are applied, you can use the funnel to filter by Flagged, Unflagged, Starred and Unstarred.
