Record an HMRC VAT refund
If you receive a VAT refund payment from HMRC:

Go to Bank (take to there in the app).

On the required bank, select View / Add.

Enter the transaction Date.

From the Code list, select VAT control account.

Enter a Comment for the transaction.

Enter the refund value in In (Inc VAT).

From the VAT rate list, select N/A.

Select + to add the transaction.
