Connect IRIS Elements Cashbook to your HMRC account

Go to Taxes and the VAT tab.

Select Connect to HMRC. You are taken to the tax service Government website.

Scroll to the end of the page and select Continue.

You will be prompted to login to the site (enter your Government Gateway User ID and password).

You are then prompted to Grant Authority to IRIS Elements Cashbook.

You return back to IRIS Elements Cashbook where a success message is displayed. The Connect to HMRC button is renamed to Disconnect from HMRC.
IRIS Elements Cashbook will automatically retrieve your VAT return due dates (obligations) from HMRC. Once received, you can begin to view the return summary and detail data.
