IRIS Accounts Production trial balance import

From version 11.3.1, client data from IRIS Elements Cashbook can be linked to IRIS Accounts Production. Trial balance figures can be automatically imported into Accounts Production.

This feature is only available to an Accountant with a IRIS KashFlow Connect account. 

Step 1 – Entering IRIS KashFlow Connect details within Accounts Production

 From the Accounts Production toolbar:

  1. Go to Setup > Practice Options.

  1. Select KashFlow.

  2. Enter the IRIS KashFlow Connect Account login details and select OK.

  1. Select OK to close the Practice Options screen.

Step 2 – Entering the Client details

From the Accounts Production toolbar:

  1. Go to Client > View.
  1. Click the Magnifying glass next to the KashFlow Client field.
  1. Select the Link to KashFlow client option.
  2. Highlight the relevant client and select OK.
  1. Select Save.
  2. Select Close to exit the Business Client Maintenance screen.

Step 3 – Importing the Trial Balance from IRIS Elements Cashbook into Accounts Production

From the Accounts Production Quick Launch toolbar:

  1. Select Posting.
  2. Go to Advanced > Import from KashFlow.
  3. Accounts Production will run the Import.

  1. Select OK.
  2. The Posting screen displays showing the imported Trial Balance.
