How to produce form R40

Since 2010 it has been possible to produce the form R40 using PTP Tax Platform.

Producing the form R40

1. Open PTP Tax Platform and select the client.

2. Select the Client Tax Returns tab, then select the relevant return.

3. Select View Tax Return then enter the client’s income details onto the main tax return.

4. Click Print Tax Return then click the R40 option from the Print Tax Form screen.

5. The following prompt will be generated, If any additional income is expected click Yes and complete the additional income details, otherwise click No to continue.
