How to add a new Depreciation Policy

 

Introduction

This topic explains how to add a new Depreciation Policy within the Accounts Production module.

  1. Select Setup | Depreciation Policies

The following screen displays.

  1. Click New.

The following screen displays.

  1. Select the Method from the drop-down list, for example, Straight line on cost.

  2. Enter the Annual rate (%) or complete the Over Years field, for example, 40%.

  3. Click into the Description field, this field will automatically be populated.

  4. Click OK and Cancel (if no further Depreciation Policies are required).

The following screen displays listing the new policy.

  1. Click Close.
