How to Restore Tax Expense SQL Data

Introduction

This topic explains how to back up a PTP TE SQL Database using the PTP Database backup process.

The default path is C:\PTP\PTPData\TaxExpense\BACKUP\*.bak (*denotes the day/date/time of the backup file) directory. This then allows the user to make a copy of the PTPData folder ensuring all the user defined data in PTP Platform is backed up.

1. Open the PTP Launcher and select Tax Expense.

2. Select the backup icon with the green down arrow (highlighted in yellow).

3. Select Restore From (select the day required ).

4. Click Run Option.

By default this will open the default TE backup location.

5. Select the backup you wish to restore and Open.

6. Once completed successfully click OK then Close.
