How to backup Tax Expense SQL Data

Introduction

This topic explains how to back up a PTP Tax Expense SQL Database using the PTP Database backup process.

The default path is C:\PTP\PTPData\TaxExpense\BACKUP\*.bak (*denotes the day/date/time of the backup file) directory. This then allows the user to make a copy of the PTPData folder ensuring all the user defined data in the PTP Platform is backed up.

 


 

  1. Open the PTP Launcher and select Tax Expense.

  2. Click the backup icon (green arrow highlighted in yellow).

  3. Select Backup To (leaving the default day as is).

  4. Click Run Option.
